Agreed let’s start winning the coastal and bringing down Clemson before we address Bama, Inc.

I think they’ve built up such an advantage that anything short of a major overhaul and they will continue to dominate.

They may fall off a little though once Saban retires. That guy is a lunatic and just has an unnatural and continuous lust for winning. One of those Pat Riley type coaches who hate to lose more than they love winning.

Saban is the opposite of Eddie O who let his lightning in bottle run in LSU get into his head.

Yeah. The thing I notice is, people want to make football way more complicated than it really is.

Nick Saban isn’t doing anything groundbreaking in Alabama. They’re not winning games due to some “gee whiz” scheme that opposing coordinators just can’t figure out.

What they do is play good, solid, fundamental football. Nick Saban is an old school stick in the mud. He coaches the same way he coached 30 years ago.

Their execution is clean. They don’t miss tackles. They stay on blocks. They catch balls that are thrown at them. Troublemakers get discipline, and the best players always play.

He runs a tight ship, like the old school coach he is. And he always prioritizes winning at the line of scrimmage.

There’s no magic formula to that. It’s just good, old time football.

Butch Davis coached that way. Jimmy and Howard coached that way.

For some reason, Miami has looked undisciplined and disorganized for the past 20 years, and that all comes down to coaching. Not coaching fundamentals, and not having control of your team.
