As a Hurricane Fan for almost 50 years I cannot believe how deeply we have fallen from being relevant...Reviewing Al's 28 & 22 record for four years one thing that's most glaring--- is the reality that nine (9) of those wins came against-Fl Atlantic--Savannah State--Fl A & M--Arkansas State--Bethune Cookman (twice) and USF three times..In my mind he's 19 & 22 with some of those stellar wins and defeats coming against powerhouses like Virginia--Cinn--Duke--UNC and Pitt.. Even Dennis Erickson ran himself out of town after going 10-2 with another National Championship...Most of the college football experts predict this will be the disaster year that ends Golden's tenure at the "U"...We're televised so hating viewers can see us loose and in a way get even for years of dominance...The fan base at the "U" deserves a better coach for our players...When the futility of our head coaching appears during the coming season, I pray the BOT and President will immediately remove our glorious car salesman and AD is he fails to take immediate action...

IF golden has another season like last and is still retained that will show you how much the BOT really cares about football
 
I talked to Al and he said to tell you his record will soon be 30-22 after the first two games this season.
 
This is Al's first season, he's 0-0. Goooooooooooooooo, Al!
 
There is a great likelihood the Illinois and Indiana jobs will be open after this season.

And though Golden is definitely not a fit for our program and the expectations that come along with leading it, I imagine he would probably do reasonably well at either of those schools.

Question for us is: Will he do well enough this season to be a legitimate candidate for either of those jobs???

The evidence that the BOT doesn't care about football has been in front of your face for a decade, but you are just too dull to see it.

SEVEN losses in his FOURTH full year at a program that's won 5 national titles...

If this was a court case and we were prosecuting the board for a combination of apathy and stupidity I'd drop the mic and walk away after uttering that line.

THIS! They'll collect ACC checks and do nothing until the conference finally wises up and dumps them. Then the program will be shuttered. The alumni, students, and fans can go bleep themselves.
