Golden called Virginia's front seven "the best we've faced." Not sure about that. FSU? Louisville?

Golden is always wary of answering questions on why things are going wrong because he doesn't want to sound like he's making excuses.

He does say UM has turned the ball over on the road too much to win

Asked Al what imprint Denzel Perryman has left on LB group. Said UM as a whole chasing elite status, and DP showed young LBs how to be elite

Golden asked if he wants team to think about national championships. "We want everyone in the organization to think like that," but 1GAAT.

AG on Perryman's impact on LB group: "We're not where we need to be again, but we have guys chasing what it means to be elite again..."

Al Golden, when asked about this senior class' legacy, said this group isn't done and they want to finish strong, and win a bowl game.

AG: "The only thing that matters now is the Pitt game."

Christy Chirinos @ChristyChirinos · 1h 1 hour ago
AG asked again if he felt the team was ready for UVa, points again to the start and says team was ready. No one using FSU hangover as excuse

AG on winning a bowl game: "Our team hasn't done that, more than half our team hasn't been to a bowl game."

I don't know why I read that.

If it's not his resignation I don't want to hear **** he says.

Golden couldn't get his team ready to play and get over that disappointing loss to FSU. It's as simple as that. But why's Golden going to improve, when the very athletic department that pays him, continues to make excuses for him and uses the same "trending up" BS.

So Mike London might be a knucklehead but he has done a great job recruiting on the defensive side of the ball. Wilkins played at Potomac High School. Saw him play for 3 years. Harold is a stud so is the kid out of DeMatha. Top knotch front 4. London has really hurt Virginia Tech. That being said Al needs to shut up. He never tried to establish a running game in the first half.

The slurpers will back in full force if we win our bowl game.

**** if you aint lied. That UVA front 7 reminded me of those VTech front 7s that always gave us fits. Just relentless. I just think this is one of those games where our injuries on the Oline hurt us. Darling shouldnt have been out there. Sonny should never play OL again for this team unless its on the scout team and Linder is hitting the freshmen wall. Our injuries to Gadbois and KC really showed. Some of these kids are hitting the mental wall. Like Feliciano. And some are hitting the physical wall. Like Flowers and Linder.

Virginia was 4-6 when they played us. Two of those wins were against Richmond and Kent State. What the **** are you talking about???
