We just made our defense even slower with that weight gain. SMH.

Yes, let's take our LBs and make them even bigger and slower.

He's actually much more talented than McCord, imo.
 
I swear to god if we're still running this ******* defense next year I won't watch a single game. I don't care how much weight players gained or how strong they got over the summer.

Only way we aren't running this defense is if Golden gets fired. Folden is pushing the 15th ranked D to recruits. He isn't making a change.
 
this is al from 6 days ago. he posts quite a lot, he has been puttin in work. If we let them play the right way him and chad should be a force next year, both sophomores...

Kid will be a monster. With Chick gone I believe he comes in with a huge chip on his shoulder and wreaks havoc. I'm with mendiso, he and Chad will be a problem. Some of you guys need to make up your minds. If he doesn't gain weight, we get blown off the LOS, people ***** about getting handled. He puts on weight and improves his athletic ability as a DEFENSIVE END, people ***** that he's gonna be too slow. Seems like there's nothing that can be done without a bunch of cryin'. No reason to believe he will transfer. Chill out fellas.

Bc a 262 LB OLB dropping to the flats is maddening. That's the position he plays in this system. He doesn't play Chicks position.

He's the ideal size for a 4-3 over front DE. But since we don't play that defense, his talents will be misused.
 
Putting on weight is not a bad thing at all.... All yall said Duke Johnson would get slow and is too big... He has had more runs over 80 yards than he has had in his career at Miami and looks like a different running back. He wouldn't have been able to complete the season if he stayed at the same weight he was as a freshman. Muhammad would look like McCord out there if he didn't gain weight.... It will make Muhammad more powerful and disruptive.... .Chickillo compared to a guy like Muhammad or Thomas are 2 different athletes.... Lol

And he will become a complete defensive end stopping the run and getting after the QB.....

Difference between Muhammed and Chick is Chick is slow regardless of playing weight. Chick is half as athletic as Muhammed, Muhammed is a freak

Yep. I think the fans have clearly earned the right to bytch and moan about the way players are being misused and wasted.

Bingo. He's not a DE. If he was a 4-3 DE, than yeah, awesome. But at 262 and a OLB in this scheme? It makes our defense slower.
