I honestly don't give a ****. Doesn't matter. Nobody on our DL, no matter how talented, is going to play up to their potential and we aren't going to be winning ****.

I don't remember any defensive ends on Butches Miami teams being as light as McCord. He can't hold up against the run. He's a situational pass rusher.

John Square was pretty **** skinny, as I recall.

As a junior he was 207. Butch was gone by then, but he was Butch's recruit and was a redshirt freshman under Butch.

Geez, guys here got permanent hard-ons for Butch. Everybody hated him until the 2000 team, now he's Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed all rolled into one.

Now, like Butch could do no wrong. How much does McCord weigh?

I don't like this scheme, but people don't remember that the 4-3 slide is a defense prone to giving up big plays, and it doesn't always stop the run. It is designed that way. The plus is that it attacks the offense and creates big defensive plays.

Everybody here though is all delusional, thinking Butch and the 4-3 defense is perfect.

He still can and doesn't have to sit out. I would be surprised to see him back here next year.

That's a great size for him, and he can easily play with that weight. Unfortunately in the 3/4 he'll have the same issues everyone else does. When South Carolina beats us 100-0, hopefully some meaningfull change will happen.

That's about where I wouldve expected him at this point given his frame on entry. I'd expect him to take McCord's spot next year if we stay in this defense. I think he'll do pretty well as an individual as I think he's more talented than McCord.
