How is it that everyone on this staff and team knows that this kid is a star yet the previous staff coached him down to mediocrity?

Because this staff has flipped the previous staffs' defensive philosophy on its head. The ends are to get upfield and get there in a hurry. I think where Coach Kool really excels from what I've seen is attention to detail. The technique drills especially how to using their hands is based on getting upfield quickly. This staff is setting a very high bar. The fact that they are saying just because they think they are practicing hard doesn't mean they are practicing at the level they are demanding.

Nah, his jersey is shredded from having OL tear at him while he is eating them alive. It is like one of those shows on Animal Planet where they show cuts and gashes on the skin of the Great White sharks that had eaten a bunch of seals.
