Al-Quadin Muhammad, Legal Issues?

Saw someone post that AQM supposedly got into a fight with his roommate over his family visiting. The roommate took exception with AQMs visitors who supposedly were his mom, girl friend and child. His roommate supposedly, bumped his little child or something to that effect and AQM and him went at it. His roommate was reported as a walk on who now has moved on and is not with the team. This was reported supposedly by his uncle on a CFB forum. Not Gospel, just a rumor. TIFWIW

Being part of the Figs-Blue debacle doesn't mean he would have had to actually done what those guys did.

There have been a SLEW of similar cases over the years involving players like this, and not all of them actually participated. But some of them may have been around, or known about it. THAT is what I meant. Obviously if he was suspected of actual rape he would not be dressed and at practice. But he could be under investigation for having been in the room, or maybe having known about it, or maybe having been told about it and not reporting it.

It may not be an actual crime, but it could have him in hot water with the university's ethics and honor code, etc...

Im not accusing dude of being a rapist here, so settle down. But we are all speculating as to what this could be about. If its not an academic issue, and with all the vague sh*t Golden has said, it sounds like its some kind of either legal or ethics/honor code/code of conduct thing with the University, and on the heels of the Figs-Blue thing, it could be related to that, though obviously not as a rapist or anything like that.

I'm just fine, friend. But the fact is that you wrote something suggesting his possible involvement in that "debacle," which caused my reaction, and now you're writing paragraphs explaining how he could have been involved but not as a rapist. So my point remains...I don't know why you'd say that in the first place. But ok.

Because that same exact scenario has happened on campus after campus involving football players year in and year out. And there are usually "spill over" effects, where other players heard about it, knew about it, or were around, and face some kind of inquiry, or code of student conduct sanctions for not having done anything about it. Doesn't mean they were rapists or involved in the rape, but it could still have had something do with the actual event. All 3 of them were close together in back to back classes, all three were on the defense. Its not a stretch to think they were buddies, and the Figs-Blue debacle was the most public mess that happened to this team in the off season, not too long ago, so if it WAS a potential legal issue, or code of student conduct issue, and its NOT academic, I don't think its totally outrageous to wonder if it may have had SOME tie to that situation.

Again, he could have been buddies with them and known about it, or heard about it and not said anything. That alone could have gotten him investigated and possibly facing honor code/ student conduct hearing.

All we are doing here is speculating. Ive never accused the dude of being a rapist or doing ANYTHING illegal, I am speculating based on the most publicized incident that took place in the off season, not too long ago, which happened to involve two other defensive players, which were in a class just ahead of him. If any allegations or investigation of him were of a SERIOUS nature, obviously he would not still be getting dressed, travelling, and on the team. I also don't think that EVEN IF he had heard about what they did and not diming them out makes him some kind of monster or criminal.

Kids going to be fine. Hopefully. Very much sounds like Golden has his back. Not like he pounded on a LaCrosse player or something.

He questioned the defensive scheme. Thought the idea of him covering the slot receiver was dumb. Golden is "rehabilitating" him so he doesn't question the process again.

Corches held him out because his form during pack peddling drills was off. Also during rush drills he showed too much "aggression and speed" which is not part of the scheme. Like has been posted, they are performing and "intervention" so it does not happen again.

Heard this...beat the roommate up pretty good. Honor council wants him suspended or something to that effect.
