ByTimReynolds: There has been no determination about Quan Muhammad's availability for Saturday at this time. Situation has been ongoing for months.

ByTimReynolds: More on Quan: Can tell you it is not related to anything involving NCAA, academics, health, etc.

Bizarre.

Guess that only leaves a legal issue. Maybe he was arrested for something and facing charges? Maybe he is under investigation as part of the Figueroa- Blue debacle?

I HIGHLY doubt he would be practicing and traveling with the team if he was in anyway involved with those subhuman animals.

Someone posted a while ago that they were surprised he was still in school. It wasn't as bad as blue but bad enough that he was surprised. Didn't go into specifics

I appreciate that you're just guessing, but it may just as well have nothing to do with either situation. And since we're the good guys, you might think twice about putting stuff like that out there for no reason. Especially re: the Figs/Blue situation, which is really nasty. The way things are these days, you might as well be a "source." JMO.

Being part of the Figs-Blue debacle doesn't mean he would have had to actually done what those guys did.

There have been a SLEW of similar cases over the years involving players like this, and not all of them actually participated. But some of them may have been around, or known about it. THAT is what I meant. Obviously if he was suspected of actual rape he would not be dressed and at practice. But he could be under investigation for having been in the room, or maybe having known about it, or maybe having been told about it and not reporting it.

It may not be an actual crime, but it could have him in hot water with the university's ethics and honor code, etc...

Im not accusing dude of being a rapist here, so settle down. But we are all speculating as to what this could be about. If its not an academic issue, and with all the vague sh*t Golden has said, it sounds like its some kind of either legal or ethics/honor code/code of conduct thing with the University, and on the heels of the Figs-Blue thing, it could be related to that, though obviously not as a rapist or anything like that.

Honest opinion, it's not too bad, or he wouldn't be practicing and traveling. Still a head scratcher though.

I bet he cheated in class.

Bet ya, bet ya, bet ya.

It sort of fits. The coaches want him to say, no legal records of note, and there is a delay in the decision. AQM may be finding his way through the Honor Council system; he may have a hearing in front of the Council this week or something, and they decide his fate.

Just my guess.

Reynolds said it isn't academics related. I can't imagine after the whole ND scandal with cheating they'd let a player suit up and travel with a team if he was busted for academic fraud.

he was on top of the depth chart a few times during preseason, and then he mysteriously missed a practice and then didn't play there after

This situation is so weird...

I'm not gon lie, I followed AQM on instagram and this man was living life, eating goods, at hotels and partying alot. I was thinking man this kid is living like a celebrity. Hester joined him on one dinner as well. not saying it a related but it's all a king sense now.

Didn't someone on here tell a story about him getting in a fistfight with his roommate or something?

Very responsible and mature of you to implicate him in a sadistic rape with zero knowledge.

Al-Quadin Muhammad is present at practice.

@smillerdegnan: I just saw #Canes DE Al-Quadin Muhammad conferring with Mark D'Onofrio on practice field

I'm just fine, friend. But the fact is that you wrote something suggesting his possible involvement in that "debacle," which caused my reaction, and now you're writing paragraphs explaining how he could have been involved but not as a rapist. So my point remains...I don't know why you'd say that in the first place. But ok.

Which begs the question, what does Classic know about the Honor Council? He seems very knowledgeable...what is he hiding? Suspicious is all I'm sayin...
