USC hires from Pete Carroll tree. FSU hires from Saban tree. Texas hires from Urban Meyer tree. Miami hires from Al Groh tree? Miami wouldnt even hire AL Groh himself, why did we hire his protege?

Shalala just wants a "clean coach and program" she doesn't care about Wins
 
kirby knew any other coach aside from the guy trying to get out of north philly would have bounced over NCAA.
 
Charlie Strong was an established coach well before he ever worked with Urban Meyer
 
i am hating hard until we go and beat nebraska. i want 10 wins this year.

True. Golden has brought up Parcells a few times. However, I'd gravitate towards a tree that dominates the NCAA. Even Charlie Strong grew from the Bill Bellicheck tree. Shannon was from the Jimmy Johnson tree.

I don't even think that would be enough for me anymore. I'm to that point I was shantard that even with a win you could see the major issues surrounding the program that were going to remain problematic.

I don't believe Golden ever coached under Parcells, so I would not say he is part of Bill's coaching tree.
