Al Golden's "NEW" Slogan

Whenever I think we've hit the bottom, there's a gem like wefense.

I think the inspiration came from Al's favorite toy - weebles wobble but they don't fall down.

Little blurb from ESPN about our "wefense."

Every team has issues to address this offseason, and this week we’re taking a look at the most glaring holes for each ACC team and figuring out where they might find answers between now and the season opener.

Miami Hurricanes

Position to improve: Defensive line.

Why it was a problem: The Hurricanes’ defensive lines the last few seasons have hardly resembled those dominant units from the early 2000s, although the defense as a whole showed marked improvement statistically in 2014. However, it’s still not enough to satisfy the Canes’ fan base and, frankly, be a consistent top-25 team. The rush defense was porous in the Hurricanes’ big losses. Nebraska and Georgia Tech each rushed for more than 300 yards. Florida State running back Dalvin Cook ran wild in the second half of the Seminoles’ late comeback, and then Virginia and Pittsburgh combined for 421 rushing yards. The front four didn’t generate a consistent pass rush, either. The defense had 11 sacks through the first three games but only 16 in the final 10. Only seven of those 27 sacks were by defensive linemen.

How it can be fixed: Recruiting is the life source of any program, but landing high-level talent is especially critical along the offensive and defensive fronts. There are only so many physically imposing high school seniors in each cycle and the elite programs are the ones that pull a few every year. The criticisms of Mark D’Onofrio’s defense have been relentless, but he’s not had a full deck along the line during his tenure.

Why doesn't Golden just admit to himself he's a ***got and take his creative talents to Hallmark?
Cause he's the kind of ***got that will take his secrets to the grave. He will live his life as a straight man while concealing the truth. After all that's what bread the culture around Ped St. A bunch of Catholics turning a blind eye to the sick things that occured on the Ped St campus. Its am old hat for them.

Lol... Didn't think I could Hate AG and crew even more. If I'm a player- coach I ain't wearing that ***goty *** ****.

it was named after several players heard the opposing offense yelling weee as they rode us like a roller coaster for 500 yds

I see Golden's Master's in Sports Psychology from Virginia is really paying off.

I am beginning to think that what he actually has is a post bachelors certificate. No ******* way a real institution of higher education would grant this dumb son of a ***** an actual masters degree. What is even more troubling is that a psychology program would grant this muther****er a degree...makes me ashamed to be a psychologist. I might quit my field and just start selling grilled bennie weenies on the side of the road

Golden will go down as one of the greatest magicians ever. He initially fooled millions with his slight of neck trick..then he topped that when he made Miami's. Defense disappear for two year.

Owens is a beast

Yes he is but it won't mean a **** thing because all of his talent and athleticism will be sucked into the huge black hole that is our defensive scheme. Want to watch Owens ball out? Wait about 3-5 years when he is in the NFL. He will probably go in the 5th round then we'll hear some random NFL player or coordinator say "My lord this kid is amazing! What do you mean he didn't produce much in college? He went on the 5th round?!".

I cannot stop laughing at this. What a corny ******. Is he 5-years-old? Man this shlt is ***. No wonder most SoFla kids are going elsewhere.

*CLAP* *CLAP* WE-FENSE! *CLAP* *CLAP* WE-FENSE!

A few more terminology changes for 2015:

Touchdowns are now #FriendshipPoints
Tackles for losses are #BackFieldBooBoos
Recovered fumbles are #FindersKeepers
Turnovers are #IknowUareButWhatAmI?s
Interceptions are #NyumNyums

That last sentence is what ****es me off. Dino has more then enough talent on the D-line. Chick had 2 sacks in the UA all star game as a HS senior and 2 sacks at the Shrine game. In two all star games he had more sacks then his ENTIRE senior season. EspiN is still full of crap.

With all due respect to the author, I hardly think anyone is accusing Dorito of ever playing with a full deck.
