Of course, if you actually include the entire quote, he's talking about the team being disciplined and playing as a team, in the context of it leading to more wins. Pretending that it has nothing to do with wins/losses is just, well, lying.
I'm not pretending anything. When the head coach of Miami is questioned about his biggest concern following a 6-7 season and 4 years of underperforming, and he spouts double talk about intangibles that we need to focus on, it comes across as being out of touch and being in over your head.
This is a running theme with him. He seems more interested in everything but winning.
Again, your reading comprehension is either at the 1st grade level, or you are simply lying. The entire context of his quote was about what they needed to be doing to WIN. Thus, an interest in winning. Now, you could make a good argument that he doesn't have the skills as a coach to get us there, in fact, you'd have a lot to base that on. However, pretending his quote has nothing to do with winning is simply wrong.
Wait, wait, wait...
Are you saying, after citing his very quote, that Al Golden is correct in his statement? He is absolutely, with complete conviction, stating that the players, through their unintelligent, undisciplined, careless style of play, are the reasons we suffered last year. Those are essentially Al Golden's words... All I've done is flipped his words to make his accusations more direct.
You think the above mistakes were the only hindrance to "what they needed to be doing to WIN" ?????
If you believe that, please, go find the nearest DIK, and choke on it till you never can return to these boards again.
