His biggest concern will be which moving company to use once this team goes 4-8.

"....can we carry our values onto the field"

Pillars and Binders not Wins and Losses.

Please make it stop.

Miami Hurricanes' mental makeup is biggest question, Al Golden says - ACC Blog - ESPN

Of course, if you actually include the entire quote, he's talking about the team being disciplined and playing as a team, in the context of it leading to more wins. Pretending that it has nothing to do with wins/losses is just, well, lying.

I'm not pretending anything. When the head coach of Miami is questioned about his biggest concern following a 6-7 season and 4 years of underperforming, and he spouts double talk about intangibles that we need to focus on, it comes across as being out of touch and being in over your head.

This is a running theme with him. He seems more interested in everything but winning.

So, it is the players fault and will continue to be. No mention of adjusting the defense to one that players can play. The question to ask Al is why, after 5 years, he still doe not have players that can play his system? Why can't he identify them in the recruiting process?

Translated....

Al Golden is the smartest guy in the world but we have stupid undisciplined players.

Golden has no feel for his profession at all. He's like someone with no sense of rhythm tinkering at music.

Dude is all text book theory regarding leadership psychology with no clue about the other nuts and bolts of his gig.

Terrible.

Ah, hard to sweat the details when your agenda is regularly to trash the coach and program.

What a double-talking loser feggit he is. Carry our values onto the field??? Huh?? He's spouting that empty, warm fuzzy, hippy **** to kids from the ghetto. They must be looking at him like he has dycks growing out of his eye sockets.

This dumpy feggit should get a guitar and do mens' group meetings in the woods with that sissy talk of his.

Al Golden's biggest concern is getting to 6 wins. After he does that it's just about choosing which catchphrase to use and where to place the blame, and for Al Golden those aren't things that really trouble him.
