Dude has an incredibly sharp mind.

If he gets us on a roll at some point in the next two years, it's curtains for the opposition.

Golden said Trayone Gray "will help us here shortly." Said ST to start.

Choc is gonna get some burn this season! Can't wait to see him return one.

“It’s a great opportunity being the national game on Monday night,” Golden said. “We look forward to it."

Golden says the secondary is still fighting for spots and says TEs Herndon and O’Donnell will play more

Golden said he'll probably play 6-7 WRs.

Golden on depth: “We are counting on a lot of young guys, but they don’t have to shoulder the burden. Brad is the one outlier."

Golden says LBs Kirby and Grace have been good at WILL. "Denzel is the anchor for us."

Golden on Louisville bowl loss: "We can live in that moment or we can learn from it and grow."

Golden on prepping Kaaya: "Brad is Brad. He has been consistent in his approach. Why would we change our approach with him?”

Golden says team is practicing Saturday, but TVs will be on in the building. Wants team to “be a fan” but not worry about other teams

Golden on Kaaya: "He’s our quarterback. he’s going to be great. He’s been executing really well. Over the last 16 weeks, he’s earned this."

Al Golden on Kaaya: “Just really sharp. Not many mechanical flaws. Then he lost 20 pounds and got conditioned. He’s great example."

Golden: No plan to play Jake Heaps, but playsheets are the same. If Heaps enters the game, won't change what #Canes do.

Golden on QBs: “I sleep well at night knowing we have two guys that we can win with right now.”

When asked about loss of Devante Parker, Golden says Louisville has a lot of weapons. Listed four WR, TE and running game.

Golden says Trayone Gray will help this year. Initially on special teams with expanded role as season progresses.

Golden said Muhammad, McCord and Harris will see action at rush end Monday night.

there's no reason to think he won't win big here as he has improved the win total every year and last year especially we would of won 1-2 more if DUke and Dorsett hadn't gone down . **** even the much maligned D got better last year . Not near good enough but better . if we can have a top 40 D we can be a top 10 team as the RB , WR and TE positions are loaded and Kaaya is a star in the making .

Bull****. He's had the same trajectory at UM that Randy Shannon has. He's fielded some of the worst defenses in Miami history, and has ONE win at UM against a team with 8 or more wins. So yes, there's plenty of reasons to think he won't win big here.

just goes to show you what ESPN and the NFL really think of The U, we get primetime billing on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL because we draw so well EVEN in a down period.
