AL Golden on CBS sports this AM talking UM & Butch

It took him 2 minutes and 20 seconds to mention the NCAA investigations without being asked. He should put it on business cards.. it would be easier.

OK, in all fairness I didn't listen to the whole thing. But I wanted to see the guy roll his eyes like wherrera8 said. Is it just me or does even Golden seemed tired and unenthusiastic about talking about the Canes? I couldn't listen to much.

As of now, it's 14th.

Two years ago, the numbers were flipped. Scoring defense was ranked higher and total defense was in the *******. You can guess what mattered back then that doesn't matter now. Yep, scoring defense.

He's a ******* shyster. End of story.

Oh yeah. Coaching against urban, Fulmer, Richt, miles, brooks, Johnson at SC is same as coaching a miami team in the acc.

Spurrier's only losses fourth season at USC were ranked sec teams, at Clemson, bowl game.

The more I see and hear from Golden, the more I think he is leaving after the bowl game. Have no idea where he is going or what he plans on doing, but he has seemed totally disinterested in this job since the Ped State fiasco.

Goldie didn't seem to be his usual glib self. There were a few stammers and pauses. However, the glibness returned when he lied about not knowing of Butch's interview.

Bottom line: Goldie's a lieing sack of turds.

+1. I've been thinking about this everytime he says they are #15. Let's also ignore the fact that we played a garbage schedule, teams with putrid offenses, had a horrible 3rd down % rate, still get no pressure, and finished 6-6 in the soft *** ACC.
 
I already know what he's gonna say. I heard it back in 2011 and I knew he was gonna play dumb on the Butch davis topic.

He DOES want out, and he's got no way to make it happen. He wanted out last year, thought for sure Penn State would be his way out, and once he realized he was stuck here, he lost all interest.

The most ****ed up thing is that his interests are reasonably aligned with ours (we would both prefer that he found someplace else to go), but he's screwed things up so badly here, he's basically rendered himself unhireable.
 
Fire Golden and Dino, hire Butch = watch stud DL, LB and DB's immediately take official visits.
 
I'd be interested to see if he says he had no support from the admin when he leaves. That tends to be a popular one with many coaches.
 
This guy is quick to point out stats and articles about any given subject but he knows nothing about what davis said? Bs.this **** is pathetic.
