AL Golden on CBS sports this AM talking UM & Butch

I saw he did an interview with Joe Rose today, yep skipped right over and listened to Butch Davis interview again.
 
Summary:

Essentially says it's a process
Excited about Kayaa thinks he can be one of the best QB's in the country
Pulls out stats and states that the defense went from 90th to 15th this year which is good progress
Says other categories have to improve like the defense has
Discussed all the money UM has put into the program recently, said the dolphins putting 350 million into renovating Sun Life will be great for the program
Asked to comment at the end about Butch saying he would be interested in the job again, said he had no knowledge of that and it would be unfair of him to say anything because he didn't know the context of the quote.
 
Discusses the cloud..... as he always does. Says we have to move forward..... same ole ****. Golden has no comment on Butch lol.
 
I suggest EVERYONE go to the 5:25 mark. The host rolls his eyes and looks dumbfounded when Golden go into his usual salesman speech.

Can somebody explain how that abomination of a defense is ranked 15th?

Is it because they didn't line up in their sh1tty formations when we played UNC, Cincy, and FSU in the first half?
 
More than anything, I can't stand that he expects anyone to believe half the crap he tries to shovel. You haven't heard about Butch's comments? Seriously? Say no comment, I'm the coach, lots of people say things, or anything....just don't blatantly lie about crap.

So Miami's defense when it comes to the basic premise of the bend but don't break style that Al Golden has been forcing on Miami has broken since it is ranked 52nd among FBS schools in the most important category; scoring defense. If teams can't score they can't win.

I don't blame the host. Golden started rambling on about being number #1 school in the state. The host was confused and so was I. The defense improving is also a mirage. I believe its #37 in total defense against FBS power 5 conferences. :jordan:

The guys face was priceless though, was it not? That's the look is fans have watching these games sometimes. Real talk.
 
Al knows that Butch is about to run him and his gang of Temple Cronies right out of the Gables.
