I heard someone say (I believe it was Pete) them boys got one day off, today and it’s back in the road tomorrow

I lived next door to Clark Lea when he was DC at ND. He got about a month off in the summer and was home on weekends in the offseason and bye weeks but otherwise it seemed like he was at work about 16 hours a day or on the road. My memory is he was home more when he was position coach under Elko though.
