Mathis just did an interview with Rivals. He had shoulder surgery last off season and said he "over did" it a few times when he returned. He is not enrolling early so he is looking forward to rehabbing and being ready when he gets to Miami. He said he talks to staff all the time. They are telling him to be ready to play. He is taking his OV the weekend of Dec. 13 with the rest of the commits. That's his only visit.

He definitely doesnt look incredible, but he looks like a for sure tackler against the run game. With Quarterman leaving, we need a LB who isnt afraid to run downhill and stop the run between the tackles.
