Ahmmon Richards...

Go 5 wide
one side Langham Cager Harley/other side Berrios Thomas
DeeJay and Homer too
Do work

We have 6 WRs on the entire roster. We won't be playing 5 wide. We have 1 TE that is capable of playing, who has been destroyed in pass pro. No mass protect. We have 2 RBs capable of playing. The options of formation are too limited. We won't be able to disguise anything. Venables will have our number after 1 or 2 drives when they figure out our personnel alignments. Not sure what you can do at this point if you're Richt. Unless our OL just dominates their DL there won't be much happening for us on offense per usual

I say just ride with Berrios, Langham, Cager, and Irvin. Give Malik the 2 tallest WRs we have and then Braxton who it seems is always open. If he can't hit a 6'6 receiver on either side or a wide open guy in the slot we weren't winning to start with.

Maybe another big play from Harris (caught the TD and was surprisingly open very often last week and was missed more than anyone) or Jeff Thomas/Mike Harley on a bomb and a big play on D and big run play and we have a shot.

What sucks about this as well is that, if they lose, the rest of the nation will give the "We knew Miami wasn't that good" diatribe while every other school gets a pass and excuses made for them. I hope this sincerely makes them hungrier like that 2000 team when they got left out of the BCS game.

I doesn't look good right now.

Rosier would have to be the 100% dead opposite of what he was last week in order to make this thing happen.

What are the chances of that?

You can say what you want. Will he be missed? Yeah but we have made plays without him on the field. Does he affect coverage? Yes but remember he only has played half of the offensive snaps each of the games he’s played in IF that.... he’s been more off the field than on it this season and the passing game still was pretty productive without him. In fact we beat a top 3 team in the country without him catching a ball. Beat fsu(2 late score tds) in the 4th quarter without him being on the field? Ga tech game where he didn’t play and langham stepped up. It’s not the end of the world for our offense folks.

This is F#CK*ING MASSIVE. I understand the team cant mope around about it and "next man up" and all that but the is a board for fans to express opinions. Losing Walton, Herndon and Richards without a QB who can take over a game for you is...well...f#@ked.

AR Stats in Biggest Games This Season:

3 Catches for 57 No TD's against VT
0 Catches for 0 No TD's against ND

Not trying to downplay his loss (and it's a big time loss), but our Offense doesn't run through him. This game still is on Malik. The WR's are still going to be open. The throws have to be made.

Obviously dont know football. Nd was using a lot of bracket coverage on richards. The guy draws attention when he is on the field.

Cmon, man. AR draws plenty of attention, but not enough to warrant the dreaded notion that we're lost w/o him or to effect the defense's entire game plan. Clemson won't tweak their defensive strategy one bit bc of this news. I said was our offense doesn't him (this season). I'm not sure how that can be disputed.l He's a game changer when healthy. He's not. Go back and look at the film. Go look at our biggest plays and then tell me which ones were truly affected by ND giving AR extra attention. 0 catches speaks for itself in that game. That's not a knock on the young man.

Richards hasn't been himself all season. Losing him AND Herndon takes out 2 of our top 3 receivers this year.

He may draw attention on the limited amount of plays he played in each game. He defintiely wasn’t on the field a lot so him not being able to draw attention because he’s injured is being overblown imo. We have made plays with him sitting on the bench too

This will force Malik to not lean on his safety blanket. How many times have we seen Malik absolutely FORCE balls to AR?!?! I thought/think to myself “just about every time he throws to that kid, it’s almost always a negative result”... Traditional coverages...Rosier should be forced to see the whole field. And to all that “none of our receivers are going to be able to get open without AR on the field!” ****- was AR on pitt’s team when they skull fuller is?!?! GTFOOHWTBS! Y’all act like Clemson has three Deions and a ST out there!!!!! *****, get it done.

Out of walton, richards and Herndon. Herndon is by far the biggest lost for sure due to his excellent blocking on the line of scrimmage

True... especially in throws within 10 yards malik has forced the ball to him and it is either batted down or richards drops it
