My thing is ... you can tell MAR loves playing offense. And we are very stubborn about recruiting him for defense.

Just watch his film. He’s a kid that needs to have the ball in his hands. Recruit him where he likes and figure it out later. Especially with the new redshirt rule you don’t have to pigeon hold a kid into a position.
 
I recall when at times Kaaya in that final year the offense would go through spurts where I would say to myself “This is absolutely the worst offensive performance I think I have ever seen”.

Even in that bowl game Kaaya and the O were awful initially. They finally got it going after that but again at times during the year Kaaya looked like Malik but with cement feet. Now was that Kaaya/Malik or is it Rick’s play calling? I don’t have all the answers but people on the team are frustrated and rightfully so.

Anyway it has got to be beyond frustrating for a talented group of WRs to not even get a chance to fight for the ball. Whether Richards is really hurt well saying anything here would be speculation.

Cali Ripkin was an overrated clown who got press cause of his attendance. Had 1or 2 good years the rest were flat trash for a guy who's in the HOF.
