Ahmmon Richards celebration oh my

People confuse "swag" with passion and enthusiasm. Miami in 80's and 90's had a unique culture where our players not only celebrated big plays but had a unique connection with the fans. I remember as a kid our players always waiving their hands up (to get the fans loud) and celebrating with us. Jimmy Johnson really pushed our players to embrace the home field advantage. I want that culture back where our guys played with heart, passion and took advantage of playing at home. Have fun, boys. It's a Canes thing.

Jimmy on his coaches show during his days at Miami would flat out say he loved the celebrations and the dancing the player did during games. Im not sure any other coach would've allowed such antics, he was the perfect man and coach for that group of young men. It made UM truly unique. There are many great college programs but not many are iconic like Miami is

The dancing, **** talking, passion, etc., is part of the city of Miami culture. Go to any high school game in South Florida and you will see the kids down here are just different. I hope CMR embraces the culture and let the boys have fun. From what I saw from our WR's (dancing) at today's practice and Saturday's scrimmage it is looking like the old days. Let the players loose and have fun.
