Also- based on interviews, AR82 comes off as an extremely intelligent and thoughtful kid. Doesn't seem like a kid that is going to make a stupid decision.

So did RJ and Kaaya

With that said I don't get why everyone is writing AR off. He will be back this season if he intends to go pro after this year, it's in his best interest to come back even if it's only for a few games and say hey NFL this is me healthy. If he doesn't play at all the injury questions will be a lot louder.

Richt just said Richards will redshirt if his knee doesn’t heal. May play last few games. Now we can stop discussing this on a weekly basis. He must have damaged his knee that he had the MCL injury on.

Good to hear that. Doesn’t sound career ending. I’d read a bad bone bruise can take up to two months to fully heal. He could play last two games and bowl and still RS with new rule.

Agreed. Almost everyone on this Board thought we had 1st round picks on the Defensive line last year and only Chad Thomas(3rd round) is on an active roster. The other guys are on the practice squad or injured reserve. Now they earn $129,000 a yr. as a practice squad player, but imagine what they'd be earning after another year in college and upping their Draft Status.

If the D-Linemen for Clemson can stay for their Sr. year and they were projected as 1st or 2nd rounders in the 2018 draft, I don't see why our players should come out early on speculation.

They need to learn from the mistakes some of our past players have made

It's a culture thing. The guys at Clemson felt they had unfinished business, so they came back.

Some of our players have treated UM like a football vocational school with "best available" job placement services.

Obviously, if you're a first or second round talent, we're talking about millions of dollars and a much better chance at the second contract.

We've had guys go for mid to late round money, at best, and completely ignore the data on those types of players getting the magical second contract.

They leave the opportunity to earn millions more for the sake of a few hundred thousand if they're lucky. It's mind boggling.

I just don't know why the Mods allow blatant trollers to continue to troll, especially when they start threads like this. Are the clicks really worth it?

What if he isn’t trolling?

Yeah "I don't blame YOU" sounds cryptic enough to suggest maybe AR82 is leaving via transfer or early something, but is also clever enough to mean it's a serious injury sustained because he did a dive for a poorly thrown ball by you-know-who (who would therefore get the blame?)

What if he isn’t trolling?

If he had some scoop, and wasn't trying to troll, he'd just say "I heard xyz. Take it for what it's worth." He wouldn't be cryptic. Based upon his message, even if he has good info, that info purposefully hasn't been conveyed so even if he's technically "right" he's still trolling.

Duke Johnson went the third round and is Miami’s all time leading rusher in 3 years and think of all the great RBs in this programs history.

He went third round and was a first round talent but people said he was injury prone. He got knocked out of a game in 2013 with a possible concussion and missed a few games after breaking his ankle the same year. If he’s considered injury prone coming out of college then what is Richards?

Duke was never a first round talent. Love Duke,

giving out his seat information,...

With all due respect Tee3000, you're not the cat who was on Rivals about 10-12 years ago after Miami Killian won the State Title, and threatened to grab a Greyhound Bus up to Cocoa to beat a poster's *** because he wouldn't agree Killian was the best team in any classification in Florida, were you?

Trolling OP? Check.
Senseless, soft-shouldered panic? Check.
Rampant, downright reckless speculation? Check.
Tangential conversation about leaving early for the draft? Check.
D!ck-measuring contest between a couple of posters? Check.

This thread is one @Paranos whale pic, one tough-guy poster (c'mon @Tee3000, we need you) giving out his seat information, and a crank discussion away from becoming the quintessential CIS thread.

My single contact in the program won’t say anything. Richt runs a tight ship.

My gut tells me is he had an issue with the way the QB situation was handled and it escalated from there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he never took another snap for UM

Friend, your gut failed you miserably this time - to me the only realistic concern is how serious is his injury. Because he definitely has an injury and it’s keeping him out.

If you look at all the available information that is RELIABLE, the most likely and logical explanation is that his injury is a lot more severe than was originally thought

his gut is a flat earth truther

Whatchu talking 'bout CD? If AR declares he'd be giving up hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions. Getting on a NFL roster would be an uphill battle after getting drafted in the 7th round (that's what 1 decent year + 2 injury plagued years gets you, on a good day).

He could also transfer a la Kelly Bryant and play next year for a different team, but with NKosi at the realm, that would also make no sense.

Unless his career is over for medical reasons, or he somehow discovered some other passion, what you are insinuating makes no sense at all.

I will be shocked if he plays another down of football at the :neonu:

He isn't inured and corch Rich has corched this situation the fvck up.

Probably because the mods with inside info are hearing the exact same info that I am.
