What I love about moten is he’s the first DT from Miami with that mean streak attitude we need at defensive tackle. He has a certain swagger to him and can tell he truly cares. Last guy at DT Miami had like that was Gerald Willis.

Yeah Darrell Jackson was ok, yeah Jon ford plugged up the gap, but when’s the last time we had someone at DT other teams truly feared? Moten is that

It’s not that he was bad. It’s that he was a JAG starter who had the physical tools to be dominant but the lack of character to deliver.

Leonard Taylor was like that for us. He flashed maybe 10 times over three years. When he flashed it was like oh ****. Then he’d settle back into mid. At least LT wasn’t a clown.

He looks completely different after being here for the off season. Thankful we landed him. DAT boy close or over 300 and it’s not sloppy.

Seeing two first round DT prospects on one team preseason trying to think the last time I remember seeing that. I’m sure Bama/UGA have had it but the idea we may have two elite DTs who both do something different in the scheme is fkn RIDICULOUS.

Whats even crazier is how rare it happens and this year Okla and Oregon kinda in same boat also.. Im sure scouts will pick apart these players and it will shake out by seasons end tho..
