If we're including Rex Ryan, who the university will NEVER CONSIDER, why not just throw out random names of people?

I know he seems to be popular on here, but Matt Campbell. Before Iowa State, the guy had never coached outside of Ohio, and that was D-III Mount Union, Bowling Green and Toledo. He's never won 10 games. And he just feels like he'd be hired for the same reasons Al Golden was hired. I don't think going 8-5 back to back at Iowa State should get you hired at Miami.

Lane Kiffin is a no. People want Kiffin because of his personality and because our offense is boring to watch. I will say, DO NOT hire someone because of offense or because he can draw up pretty plays. Hire the best guy whether he is defensive minded or offensive minded.

Greg Schaino is a **** no. Long time Rutgers coach who did nothing for 11 season in the old Big East with no VT or UM in it.

Manny. 0 HCing experience and no need to rush things. If we make the wrong hire and Manny does well at Temple we can hire him at another time. Right now I feel like his teams as a HC would be like his defenses. Looks good vs Toledo and Duke and UNC then folds against physical teams.

Notes: No to any coach that will perform nepotism. Rex Ryan might hire his brother Rob Ryan who he probably won't fire if he sucks. Stoop might hire his brother who just got fired at Oklahoma who also sucks.

Note #2: It a BIG NO for me to hire fired HCs who coached in the state of Florida, Texas, Georgia, California, and Louisiana. Those are my top 5 recruiting states that are loaded with enough talent to any competent coach should succeed.
