AG's super motivating pregame speech

"Trust your training " was a slang used by the U.S. Marine's at Khe Sahn, not meant to be used by an Over My Head Football Coach..

What occasion was there to rise to? This game was not supposed to be close, but this coaching staff has put this program on the same level with these cupcakes.

whenever i see his outfit and greasy hair spewing out sales pitches i want to vomit all over my house.

It completely goes against the upbringing and attitude of most of his players. For many, rising to the occasion is all they know and what they were taught. This guy is completely out of touch with his team

Out of all the bull**** quotes he has said..... Do not rise to the occasion is by far the worse. When I saw it live I blanked out for a while... Couldn't believe he said that ****

several years ago, when I knew some of the 2012 freshmen, it appeared as if they were SCARED of Golden.

this doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

"Do NOT rise to the occasion!!"

You can't even make this **** up. It reads like a script for an SNL spoof on a football coach. Incredible.

I'm listening to other coaches today telling their players u have to be extraordinary to win games today.... Our coach said don't rise to occasion, trust your training.... ******* pitiful

I couldn't even make it through 3 seconds. As soon as he told them not to rise to the occasion, wow. This guy is the worst.

Pillars and Core Values? Those are the only things I can think of...........rising to the occasion hurts Pillars and Core Values?
