All I know is Mensah will need to know the best sub places in Coral Gables
Yea I’m just picturing him reading all these comments like, “These ****’s are bringing me in to be QB1 and all of em talking about where to get the best sub and bogo toilet paper, wtf?”

The lowly ACC is now ***-RON-TEED to get a slot over a G6 school now.

So, you know, TAKE THAT G6! Duke changed everything, man!
But isn't that now overshadowed by the possible changing of the two breaker system since the ACC was embarrassed by every sport network for having a 7-5 Duke team in said CCG?

When agents are involved, there is no tampering. If we end arounded his agent and called him on campus…ok, maybe there you can make that claim, and even then, show me where that happened…and what the exact reg was broken…but give me a fackin break
Yeah, this is not true. An agent acting on behalf of their client, and speaking with other schools, is still technically tampering.

But Duke CHANGED EVERYTHING...even if other changes will make things go back to normal, and Duke's changes MEAN NOTHING....

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

It's not tampering, but it's communication that might not be allowed, depending on the draftng of the contract.

You can't tamper with your own contract by calling around to see what the market will support.

Regardless, the way in which Dukies (and other Miami-haters) are TRYING to use the word "tampering" is to call out "MIAMI-INIITIATED" contact that somehow convinces the player to repudiate his honorable contractual arrangement.

They really think their the reason the CFB criteria was changed for next year. Couldn't be something that was already in the works just like the MOU that guarantees ND a spot if they are top 12. Things like this do not just happen in a couple of weeks and besides no one in the CFB committee just like everyone outside of Durham gives a rats *** about Duke football.

Well moreso regarding ncaa rules than said contract between duke and mensah. Technically while a player is enrolled at another school and not in the portal, an individual can not just get around "tampering" by telling an agent rep to do it on their behalf. Now, do they enforce it? Doesnt seem like it, but nonetheless meets the definition.

I usually buy my dry goods, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc….basically everything BUT meat and produce at Wal-Mart. I usually go to Fresh Market to get that stuff because the quality is much better. See, Publix thinks they’re slick with these BOGO’s but their prices are so much higher to begin with that you really aren’t saving that much money. I used to get my meat/produce from them back in the day but the quality has really slid in recent years, especially their meat.

BTW, I do think it’s hilarious that a topic about Mensah has turned into a free advertisement for Publix, but I figured I’d throw my two cents in.
This is also so true. The quality of the meat at Publix is overrated and has dropped tremendously. Walmart is great for dry goods and Aldi's is actually very underrated when it comes to house supplies. They can compete with Walmart when it comes to things like toilet paper. I recently just started going back to The Fresh Market because I just found out about there weekly Meal Deals. Tuesdays and Fridays have saved me alot of money from eating out lol. Other then that, their groceries are too expensive lol

Btw, so this week is the week the Mensah situation is cleared correct???
Since Duke just signed their portal QB from San Jose State ... Mensah should be on campus by the end of the week. There is no longer any basis for their "irreparable damage" claim. Heck, they even save money as this new kid will cost less.

Want to watch something infuriating?
Check out this video of “The Ruffalo and Joe Show” where this hack Blake pretty much blames Miami for the current Wild West nature of CFB.
Brings up the Lucas situation, then completely makes up **** about us “blatantly” tampering with Mensah and how the Mensah/Duke/ Miami situation is “way worse” than the Ole Miss/Clemson drama. Whenever a topic like this comes up this stupid, mouth breathing ************ always finds a way to tie Miami in somehow. Man, I wish I could send him my fist through the internet..

Edit:
16:30 mark is his main diatribe, but he brings us up repeatedly throughout the whole video

He thinks lane Kiffin has been moral standard for how to properly handle the portal…..

Fair enough. I think the better overall term is "communication". And there is a difference between "specific communication" ("I'm calling on behalf of my client, X") and general communication (an agent calling schools, without offering names, to see if the schools have particular position needs and what they are seeking and what they are looking to pay).

The only thing they changed IMO is how many elite transfers will be willing to go there in the future. Duke needs to realize their place in the CFB hierarchy because they’re feeling themselves a little too much. It’s the same reasons we don’t get upset when a highly touted basketball recruit were to choose Duke over us. Oh right, I forgot, they won the ACC! Only due to the fact this conference is run by fools who put a 5-loss team in the game over us.

So, that is the school tampering which is what I was talking about? …short of a tortious interference with contract type claim, the agent in your example would be doing the tampering. Also, who enforces the “tampering” laws? The NCAA? The feds? The State?

Has anyone tired Subby’s in South Miami? I remember Hungry Bear Subs by MDCC and it was good.

I tried LaSpada once after a spring game in Ft. Lauderdale and wasn’t that impressed. Maybe it was an off day due to the larger crowd following the game. Maybe I’m used to the subs/grinders from the northeast. No se.
