People clamoring for Publix subs have never had a real good sub like LaSpada. There’s a 10x difference between a Pub Sub and LaSpada

Oh h*#@l yeah! Laspada's is the gold standard! I can eat 4 days on the giant roast beef or chicken salad. I live south of Tampa in Apollo Beach and found Detwiler's Farm Market in Manatee County. That place is legit and as close to Laspada's as you can get. Publix can't hold a candle to their subs, in price and size(pause).

Also, there are two LaSpada's in Orlando, one on Lee Road and one on State Road 46, across from BJ's Wholesale Club.

We used to go to the one in Orange City when we visited our son at Stetson. Funny thing is the owner said he owned the original Laspada's on Sea Grape in FTL and the one there now is an imposter. I just ignored him and wanted my sandwich.

I tell everyone this. Only shop at Publix for the BOGOs... and I recommend everyone to get the Publix app so you can also get the digital coupons as well. It updates EVERY week so you can see and keep up with all the new sales.

Btw I do work there and trust me, those BOGOs aren't going anywhere lol they know that's their bread and butter

I usually buy my dry goods, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc….basically everything BUT meat and produce at Wal-Mart. I usually go to Fresh Market to get that stuff because the quality is much better. See, Publix thinks they’re slick with these BOGO’s but their prices are so much higher to begin with that you really aren’t saving that much money. I used to get my meat/produce from them back in the day but the quality has really slid in recent years, especially their meat.

BTW, I do think it’s hilarious that a topic about Mensah has turned into a free advertisement for Publix, but I figured I’d throw my two cents in.

Wegmans subs are the best. It’s the generous portions and the bread. They bought the bread recipe from another local Rochester chain “Dibellas”.
