Afternoon game thread

Well that was about as bad of a slate of game could go for us. And I have a feeling ND is about to rank ahead of OU....

I think we have a VERY SMALL shot of jumping BYU before they play TTU in Conference champ game now since UCF sucks ****. Like maybe if we kill Pitt and ASU loses next weak (so there are no other B12 teams in top25 beside TTU/BYU/Utah), that COULD push us to 11. But even then, we probably NEED 1 of OU/Bama to drop LSU/Auburn....

And is it really likely at all that they'd put us in OVER ND AFTER the regular season ends (like if we are behind BYU and then they lose) if us and ND don't play at all? no. I think the odds of us getting an at-large spot have really diminished. We really gotta kill Pitt this weak and SMU has to win out. Otherwise we NEED to make the conference champ game.

I think the path we want is SMU winning, UVA&Duke Losing. Syracuse and NCSt winning helps too. That's the path that maximizies our ACC and At-Large hopes.

Ya it's over unless by some miracle we make and then win the ACCCG

I think those chances are actually pretty reasonable. However it would all come down to us and ND anyways. If the committee doesn't want us to get in, they will simply place ND above OU or something, or even leave them how it is and say there is a clear tier dropoff after Bama/BYU...

And in reality you can’t give up 480 yards rushing and barely escape against a 5-5 team and that be logical.

Miami beat a 5-5 team 41-7 and they didn’t cross the 50 until the reserves were in the game.

If there’s an eye test, that’s it. It’s clear as day.

But
I also have watched every single snap they have played so I have knowledge to go with it that you don’t have!
My bet is you saw them a few series v BYU and that is it

Their D is lightning fast and they play w bad intentions
David Bailey having twice the year Bain is having
He wrecks gameplans
Rodrigues at LB jist
Has a nose for the ball that we wish we had w Toure

They can run it down your throat or they can beat you w Behren Morton going down the field to big fast wideouts

They spent $ on STUDS not duds

Again, I KNOW Saban likes them - that’s more than good enough for me

You can bellyache and wish something else but it doesn’t matter, this team could easily be final four team this year!

I'm just cool on having to hear you brag on Texas Tech on a cane board.

TT did a good job in the portal this year. Next year they will have to as well as they are sr deep.

Their class this year is pretty good for their standards hs wise.
