So Notre Dame can tear apart pit last week and then pit walks in on the road against Georgia Tech, who supposedly the best team in our conference and kick the living **** out of them

Good job ACC I don’t know who’s gonna make it to the ACC championship game and be the automatic qualifier but they’re gonna get their head kicked in by 30 points against anybody they play in the playoffs

NGL this version of PITT at home worries me. I figured if they lost tonight, they had nothing to play for and the stadium would be empty.

Generally agree, caveat is whether you controlled the game and won (us vs VT) or didn't and got lucky (Utah) is actually important, and does differentiate some Ws from other Ws. Scoring a garbage time TD against VT or stopping VT from scoring a garbage time TD doesn't matter at all. That eye test stuff today in our game drove me up a wall

Would be amazing if they left them out and put us in as an AQ

Even if we had 1 loss going to Pitt game (Louisville), if we lost to pitt next week I think we would be knocked out of playoff bracket and probably the ACC championship game too. So other than making the math to the ACC title game very complicated , i am not sure how much the SMU loss functionally changed the outcome of where are today. Would have to beat Pitt in any scenario.

I'd be shocked if 2 G5 teams got in CFP. ACC Champ is getting in. SMU and UVA imo would beat Duke in the ACCCG.

I think if Duke won the ACC and not SMU though, the Committee would just wrap the ACC up and keep us out. If it's a toss up and the ACC champ is Duke we aren't getting the benefit of the doubt. But if its a toss up for our at-large spot and the champ is an SMU team we lost in OT on the road to.... better shot

Sorsby has not been playing well but need him tonight.

My boy Bear is going to be tough to beat at BYU. Love how he plays the game at QB
