After we fire Golden, let's not over-correct

I want to see an offensive minded coach. Doug Meacham could come and bring Sonny Cumbie with him.

I like meacham but doubt Sonny would come with him. Patterson would probably make Sonny the lone OC with play calling duties

can't see us hiring a coordinator here although I'm not opposed to it

who else do you like Andrew?

I like Chad Morris and what he has done at SMU so far. I went to the TCU vs SMU came last year and SMU looked like complete crap. This year he has that offense attacking no matter who they play. Phillip Montgomery who is in his first season at Tulsa is also pretty good and has them scoring well in their first few games. He was the OC at Baylor for a while.

Do you like Meachem and Morris above Fuente and Herman?

And if so, please elaborate.

Personally, I think what Fuente has done with that Memphis program is amazing!

And while Herman may be doing what he was hired to do, there is value to a coach meeting expectations.

Plus, Herman and Fuente are both making less than $1.5MM in their current jobs ... Miami could double their salaries, and still have room for an increased staff pool.

Not the same bang-for-the-buck with Morris ... I think he already makes $2MM at SMU ...

From Wikipedia:
Personal Life
Herman was born in Cincinnati and still has family there, though he was raised in Simi Valley, Calif. A member of Mensa International, Herman earned his B.S. in Business Administration from California Lutheran in 1997 where he was a *** laude graduate. He was a Presidential Scholarship recipient. At California Lutheran he was an All-Southern California Athletic Conference wide receiver. He also earned a Masters of Education from Texas. Herman and his wife, Michelle, have a daughter, Priya, and two sons, Maddock and Maverick.

I have a problem with Mensa members. These nerdy geeks are anxious to show you just how smart they are. Fraulden likes to show how smart he is. That personality trait hasn't worked out for us.

If Butch is a Mensa member, he's been smart enough to keep it under wraps. [SUP]
