I was at that game - that was the infamous crutches game where several UT players were put in crutches that game.

Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Willis McGahee = best backfield at one time in all of CFB.

If I am not mistaken, all 3 have rushed for more than 10, 000 yds. in their NFL careers and don't forget Davenport, who had some pretty good years with the Packers and the Steelers.

Anyone who does not want Butch back needs to watch that and only looks at 2nd and 3rd string players and special teams. Willis getting clean up minutes, ST and KW II on special teams only. Are you kidding me!

You realize all 3 were freshman and Sean Taylor definitely was not a special teams only player his freshman season anyways.

Vince Willfork and Frank Gore were also true frosh on that team and both may find themselves in the NFL Hall of Fame when it is all said and done.

Not my fault. I was 9 years old in a vols family. I'm from TN lol. There was just always something about TN that I just never liked and I eventually grew on Miami at about 7 and was full cane after that game.
