Offensive Thoughts -

- Jarren, Zion, & Campbell - Need to get used to D1 P5 game speed. Potential is there for all three though. They should only get better.
- Enos play calling was great on the first few drives and pretty good overall. The OT struggling and Jarren not throwing the ball away, made it difficult to scheme.
- Deejay, Jordan, Scaife, Osborn, all played great and showed they can be leaders on offense
- Mallory was non-existent
- JT still seems like he isn't involved enough
- Need more Pope than Martell

Defensive Thoughts -

- Thought the DBs played very solid, besides Gurvan missing the tackle on the long Toney TD. Kudos to the DB group and coaches ;)
- 2-3 bull**** Pass Interference calls (on Blades & Finley) really hurt us/momentum
- Garvin needs to be more impactful.
- Played ok, but LBs look slow man.
- Strikers played awesome - Finley and Gilbert
- Ford looked very solid. Encouraging stuff from him, Frierson, Rousseau (would like to see more of him), Blades, Amari, Patchan etc.
- Bandy - DAWG (enough said)

Overall -

Penalties on Cam's run, JT muffed punt, and Baxa missing easy FG killed us. Game was ours for the taking even with our QB and two OTs being Freshman in their first starts and looking like it.

Encouraging game and there's no reason we shouldn't win the coastal but discouraging that we could've easily won if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot multiple times. UFag sucks (borderline Top 20 team)

I’ll rock with this. I was at the game but still want to rewatch and will do so..Bandy was the best player on the field for both sides imo. That cat embodies everything I want from a player..Jeff Thomas man💀. I was very disappointed he didn’t make that catch in the end zone. Yes it was contested but he needs to make that catch.

I think manny needs to shake up the oline RN. Yes I believe the young pups on the outside would get better as the year goes on. But I think it needs to absolutely be a WIDE OPEN comp from now until UNC..that play was unacceptable. If Jarren wasn’t a good athlete the kid gets hurt.

We need Bubba bolden NOW he needs to be that our either or dime outside corner or over the slot. Not a full position switch but I think he can be counted on in certain situations to He’s experienced and athletic enough

Also, if u watch again u can clearly see Zuniga beating the OL from the snap of the ball every single time. In my opinion the snap count needed to be addressed at some point in the game. Adjustments could had been made. They were getting beat from the snap of the ball. 10 sacks is unacceptable.

Can you or anyone tell me why #15 on defense doesn't play more..let that dude eat. He's gonna be like Carlos Dunlap for Uif back in the day. Long and ready to work.

Yall just consistently disrespect donaldson. He was the best o-linemen last night hands down. I didn't see him get beat once. Scaife was solid overall but did get beat about 3 times.
This. Donaldson played good so to those who think he should move to T to replace Zion or Campbell don’t know **** about football.

Agree with you on Garvin. I said this last year and I will say it about him again this year. He is a good DE and does make plays, but sometimes he plays the position too much like an outside LB. The DE’s from Florida were using there strength and speed to wreck havoc. Garvin doesn’t focus on his get off. When he engages the OL he plays as if he is looking to read what is going on instead of just beating his man.

I think the youngsters will grow into the position and get better and better every game. They faced the best they can anticipate during the regular season and were not as bad as perceived by many. Moving them now will destroy the progress already made and does not bode well for their future. This is a young team and will have growing pains but the long term benefit is worth it. As they grow we will be winning the Coastal while they progress and it will prepare us for the ACC championship and beyond.

I’m rewatching the game now damnit man, we had a ton of momentum for much of the 3rd quarter and for the first 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. We should have won this game for sure man

I want to know why you think Pope needs to get some PT? What the **** has he done to warrant that? Tell me. All you Pope ****-riders need to explain what you have seen from Mark Pope that warrants him playing time? Because Richt/Dugans didn’t think so and Diaz/Enos/Stubblefield don’t think so either. Two different leadership groups who both believe Mark Pope hasn’t earned playing time. But for some ******* reason you do. Go the **** away.

Garvin was asked to spy in most obvious passing situations.

I agree with his general lack of production. I thought he was dominating LSU until he got hurt last year.

Against more drop back teams. I expect him to do more this year.

Stage looked a little too big for Mallory, still like his talent but needs more in games reps. His holding on the fake field goal hurt also.

Looked like a team with a brand new qb, new ol, new hc, oc, dc, making their first start together. Also looked like they played this game a week or two early, all that being said we still had the ball with a chance to win late.

But untill they prove me wrong this is the same Miami I've seen: Solid D that struggles to get off sometimes, Atrocious Special Teams play, and an underwhelming offense.
