UM has an alumnus discount on Sections 117 and 119. Move your tickets into that section. Hopefully, the cost to YOU is the same, but the tickets are better.

Then, sell any tix you don't use. Those sections are on the "away" side, so even if UM fans are not super-motivated to attend, at least some away fans should be interested in buying those tix.

You should be able to break even, or at least cut your losses.

I originally sat in the Alumni section back in the OB, then moved up to the "Family Section" in the WEZ until we moved to Dolphin/Pro Player/Sunlife/Landshark/HardRock. I've always preferred the upper deck at the Rock (I like the "spread view"), so i've never gone back to the alumni section, but maybe I'll give that another shot.

My sons are always up for an away game, so we're thinking about Cal this year.

If anyone sees a boomer wandering around the Maroon lot with a case of beer looking for a place to land, wave me over.

My wife has reluctantly been going to a game or 2 every year with me for the last 30 years . We typically go with another couple or family but last year she threw a fit at half time wanting to leave.

Not ever asking her to go to another game. I'd rather go alone. Not a bad thing.

Totally weird and different experience. I've been on the lower upper deck, visitor's side, 20 yard line for years, but there's always different people around me, so I've got no connections there. My wife hates going to the games, but will watch on the sofa with me. She convinced me not to renew my tickets this season, but I can't stand the idea, especially since I'm pretty excited about this season.

Any suggestions?

Renew the tickets and say to family, **** yall talking about don’t renew? Say it with swag and violence and they won’t say anything. Problem solved
