ok, but you didn't qualify that in the original post
My bad, I guess? They have a lot of defensive players in the portal that we seem to be after and one offensive player. Figured that was the point of the comment.

Point being, some of these guys may be good. But people also think everyone that hits the portal is legit. I think people should watch the SJSU, New Mexico, Boise, and Oregon State games before they get too excited about anyone on that defense.

Maybe they didn’t.
Washington State was 8-4 in 2024 and has lost a ton of talent to the portal and draft in 2023 and appears to be headed that way this year. The big issue is the dissolution of the PAC-12 and their head coach leaving for Wake Forest.

I have to ask, how did WSU have so much talent?

I haven't check their latest roster, but in the past they've found alot of under-the-radar players from California, and not necessarily from the bigger programs and/or cities. Players from Fresno, Stockton, Sacramento, etc. Similar strategy you see at Boise State. Plus you have the Cali JUCOs. Pretty good coaches, especially on Defensive side of ball.

I am all for bringing in more competition, but I don't think he will start here. Poysner will start, though.
