I didn't say anywhere in my post that she shouldn't care about academic rankings. All I said that you are an idiot if you think she cares about winning more than that. Would never ever happen. This administration is the root cause of our decade long irrelevance and mediocrity. Nothing will change under this regime.

The university has improved it's academic standing and that's a noble and worthwhile achievement. However, returning to football prominence - no chance.

You think our admin has the cojones to fire our DC n OC in the middle of the season? And what do you think Golden would do if this happened?

Completely agree. All you guys holding out hope that Shalala/BOTs/Admin are going to make changes because we are a mediocre football team are nuts. They won't do a thing to Al Golden or his staff. As long as he keeps that graduation rate high and keeps the off field trouble to a minimum, this job is his until the day he dies (Or decides to leave - which ain't happening either). Theres a reason they extended this guy's contract through 2020 when he hasn't proven a **** thing on the field.

I call two players raping an under aged girl, off the field trouble. Al has failed on all levels. The empty stands will do him in.

Sorry, but that's absolutely stupid to try to pin either one of those on Golden in any way. Those two players, and those two players alone are responsible for their disgusting actions. Golden did exactly what any responsible authority figure would do in that situation. As for "empty stands", that's a LONG standing issue that was around even when Golden was still a freshman on the PSU football team, so blaming his is laughable.

I can read just fine. My degree is from UM, not 13th grade at USF. So your big point was that the president of UM cares more about academics than winning football games? What other gems do you have......any predictions on whether the sun will come up tomorrow? Great post, bro.
