Davis also upset UM with the way he left in 2000, but there are also two other situations that have upset UM. When Davis was at North Carolina UM believes he recruited against UM citing Bryan Pata’s death as a reason not to go to UM and he supposedly left Sean Taylor’s funeral early, which also did not sit well with people at UM.

Butch and Randy did not like each other.

Randy left for the Dolphins in 1997. There were many opportunities for Butch to bring Randy back as DC but he refused. Randy ultimately came back when Butch left.
