4-star DE Adisa Isaac has narrowed down his choices to Miami and PSU and moved up his announcement from Wednesday to today at noon. On Sunday night, the same source with Jared Harrison-Hunte told me essentially the same thing about Isaac: that he is not confident in Miami’s chances to win out. Isaac's well-documented family situation is playing a huge factor here, and that makes him likely to stay closer to home at Penn State. I do think there is a small chance that he shocks people with a Miami pick here, and Miami does have a better shot here than with, say, Justin Eboigbe, but I'm officially picking PSU.

Our bag man been whiffing this cycle.

My thoughts exactly.....

This could have been a great class with much needed depth in the trenches and some flashy studs in other positions instead we are here

What a time to be alive

lol now our fans gonna uproar as if they expected him to come when we all knew it was gonna take a miracle

The whole recruiting process has to change here. It can't constantly be we're right there but "came late", "wasn't aggressive enough", etc without it being something missing. Now I thought we had a really good shot here and maybe the family aspect won out but too many in this class would've came had the staff took charge from jump

It's what happens when you don't talk to a girl all year but ask her to prom a few weeks before.

She's flattered but already made plans with someone else. It only works when you are MUCH more attractive than the other options, or they were already looking for a reason out.

If that's what you think, you haven't been listening. Lots of people have been saying for quite a while that this recruiting class is going to be a serious dissapointment. It's been the this is fine crowd who has been saying we're going to get everyone and hiring Patke and Banda was a great move and will salvage the class, etc, etc, etc. There is no way the pessimists/realists (depending on your perspective) are the ones who are surprised that Adissa will be dissin us in the end.

We can discuss and debate without pretending the other side is thinking/saying things that just aren't the case.

Considering his family situation, Isaac would have been a difficult pull to Miami absent someone "helping" the family relocate to South Florida. This is a kid I will root for, regardless, though.

I didnt say surprised I said "uproar" meaning those "pussiesmists and "realists" you are referring to are gonna ***** even though they knew he wasnt coming.

All depends how he feels. Distance didnt play a factor for Jeudy, he has a sick sibling from what I remember.
