I'm not going to lie, I'm shocked Mario signed off on this. Would I buy one? NO. F NO. That said, Army has run this template before, and people weren't flipping out about it. I'd rather Miami do camo accessories, maybe a camo U on the helmet, and avoid this jersey, but it's not my call to make.

1. IT’S ARMY! They are a SERVICE ACADEMY!

2. Their execution of their Desert Storm & Camo unis are night & day different.

The thing about military alternative uni's is they're always so **** on-the-nose in your face "Military but football!"
It's hardly ever done well or tastefully.
Those appreciation jerseys look like we're literally bout to be in the middle of Afghanistan 4th & 1 against Al-Qaeda. Like the pre-game meal was a **** MRE or something lol, a little goes a long way man.

Adidas should hire you. You do better work than the mopes currently hired by adidas that are cranking out *** uni designs.
 
My question is, do people actually buy those jerseys? Let’s be real, the only reason they make alternate jerseys is to sell more of them. But who’s buying a UM camo jersey?

That shirt/jersey. No way. A cooler looking one, yes-ish. I bought an Army 250th Anniversary Bourbon bottle the other day for a family member that retired from the Army. Similarly, I’d probably pick him up a solid looking Canes t-shirt even though he’s not a Miami fan. I’d also be more inclined to buy a game used one that was not a complete debacle.

I agree with your point. Just going you the examples in which I’ve bought or may buy alt gear.

Probably former military.

If they made some bottomland or greenleaf camo jawns then they’d have my attention.
