Adidas has already done more for us than Nike

How so?

They are showing our brand more than nike, i can tell you that they are really making their presence felt in SoFl sports

They haven't really done anything yet. We were with Nike for years. How is it Adidas has done more in a few months than Nike has over decades?

Well we were plastered all over ESPNs web site, nike never did that for us they just marketed their brand, they cant really do that much yet but like i mentioned they are throwing their products around down here at schools and some where talking about switching to them, lets see what they do when we are fully with them but so far im liking what they are doing

Yup, couple of coaches are already about to switch to addidas gear for their programs

Neither. Just the same old. Nike generally is more expensive and rarely stale.

Are you saying the change to Adidas is a change UM needed? I can think of a lot of things that needed to change before Nike needed to be, but yet the only change we've gotten, and even then it isn't that great relative to what needs changing.

Because we weren't winning and the Phil knight Oregon love affair.... We were being passed out ... No school is getting more love than Oregon lately... But if adidas is outbidding the others that means they WANT us and intended to flip their investment Nike was content .... Simple

As far as style... If it look good rock it ... Bottom line... Only groupies chase labels. I got all the major clothing lines on deck.

Neither. Just the same old. Nike generally is more expensive and rarely stale.

Same sweatshop. Different sign on the front door. But one is willing to pay Miami a lot more money. So Nike went cheap and Adidas won out. Nike or Adidas, the team is the same going into the season.

Are you saying the change to Adidas is a change UM needed? I can think of a lot of things that needed to change before Nike needed to be, but yet the only change we've gotten, and even then it isn't that great relative to what needs changing.

When the contract was up for grabs, the move to the much higher bidder willing to make Miami a priority school was indeed needed. But to be clear about my point. People ***** about everything and then when there is a change people ***** about that.

Examples -
- President - Want Shalala out. ***** the new guy is a Mexican making it a futbol school.
- Uniforms - Don't like new Nike uniforms last year. ***** about Adidas brand and more money.
- Facilities - Invest in Training table, turf practice field, etc - ***** there is no IPF.
- Coaches - Want coaches gone - ***** about them being replaced but not being fired. ***** about the replacements.
- Baseball - Want Morris gone - Is being replaced. Makes Omaha. *****ing about the previous seasons.
- Stadium - Hate Sunlife - Miss Orange Bowl - ***** about Beckham Stadium proposal at Orange Bowl site.

The program has been bad. The results under Golden have been bad. We need improved facilities. We need to make more and bigger changes. But *****ing that the school getting more money for Adidas than Nike because there are bigger problems to solve is *****ing for the sake of *****ing.

Clearly Miami should have turned down more money because fans that said they were not buying apparel like the Nike apparel they aren't going to buy better than the Adidas apparel they haven't seen yet.

Dro is speaking the truth. I've spoken to a lot of these kids. They really love Adidas. The whole Nike vs Adidas thing is overblown.

You would be shocked. Most of these kids love the Adidas gear and especially the cleats.

Angry, your point is taken. I don't usually complain about the things you listed, our anything for that matter, but something about the Adidas thing just rubbed me wrong. Again, I'll fall back, and see what's up.
