These are the modern day helicopter parents. It’s OK to guide your child’s career, but as a parents we have to remember it is still not our life. I don’t understand why parents feel the need to comment on social media about their kids. I’m not singling her out either. Brysen Wright’s father likes to comment a lot about his son.

Guide them. But let them breathe as well.

Yep. Calling it a drug is as good a description as I have read about social media. And just like a drug, it seems hard for a lot of people to give up once they start. Probably because they get some kind of dopamine rush just like a drug. I’ve read that Facebook figured that out with “likes”.

Just crazy for her to say this early out “it won’t be Miami”. Top 5, NIL, Jason Taylor. He could feel he fits better elsewhere, that’s fine, but for her to write Miami off this early seems personal…

Ain’t no different than car shopping unfortunately parents are doing it with their kids.

Yes and no. Honestly that stuff often comes down to how Dennis feels about a particular kid and his recruitment. He's cost us several since he's been here over how he's dealt with families and recruits

I’ve heard this but I’ve also heard some recruits giving him a lot of praise. So maybe he’s very black and white as to whether he wants a recruit and it can make some people feel disregarded. Whereas if he likes a recruit he makes them feel incredibly wanted.

But you know recruiting is a weird dance of how much do you like me and how much do I like you.

That boy Dennis a wild one. You dont know who he may try or not like your right. Some love em some think he a prick at times.

Without getting into outside factors I'd say his biggest issue is a valid one. BUT he doesn't consider the landscape at times. #1 these parents for the most part are leeches doing things entirely on their own outside of kids involvements. It's sad to say how many parents just decide if we want their kids & set up nil etc that as parents they're entitled to constantly come at us for anything and everything just for the **** of it... Sad.

#2 other significant issue is like Stubbs did. He worked out nil with us. Gave us a verbal and then went back and forth on that nil agreement every chance he had. I understand how volatile this system is and that every day as a high tier recruit your getting significant offers and it changes daily. But that doesn't mean every time someone offers you more than us you and your entire family come at Dennis and say I got a bigger offer. You either gotta match or I'm gonna flip over and over again. That's **** **** and I don't blame Dennis in any mindset let alone his volatile ones to snap about that. Kids and families gotta own up to their **** also
