Adarius Hayes

This kid is a true middle linebacker. All the best thumpers have an edge to them.
Hes full tilt to every thing he does it’s in his nature. All the best Miami Linebackers had this same off field edge apart from maybe Dan Morgan, Randy Shannon, Vilma, Maurice Crum. Very rare to find a true assassin without an off field edge. The kid is young. Let the courts decide.

hes had multiple times to learn.

hes out of chances.

thats what I meant about behind bars - 30 days or something. something where he has real consequences. rice from KC got 30 days for his stuff. this one resulted in three deaths. id like to see him in there for at least 3-6 months.

I just think he had enough lessons to learn from where he escaped consequences. I really hoped that the cop didnt do Mario a favor on the street racing charge bc at least he would have faced a misdemeanor at the very least and have to go through the system.
this incident DIDNT happen in south florida.

I dont think a cop in CLearwater cares about Mario Cristobal whatsoever.

It was reported here that he already totaled 2 previous vehicles, almost sideswiped a cop, and got pulled over for speeding/racing/reckless like 7 times.

Dude needs to not be associated with the program anymore.

It's crazy that Mario kept him around up til this fatal crash.

Dudes future isn't in football anyways.
wait you figured this out in one semester?. you realize he isnt a sophomore yet right?.

In Miami-Dade County, Hayes was cited for racing on the highway on Sept. 8, 2024. Hayes was ticketed for racing more than 90 mph on SW Eighth Street and SW 92nd Avenue. He was also cited for driving with an improperly displayed or obscured tag during the same stop. The cases were dismissed in February.

Your literal point is correct.

However he has a patten of prior behavior. If he had zero traffic incidents of any kind, I wouldn’t even bat an eye. I mean from him being able to move on with his life, etc. It’s obviously beyond tragic and the law will have their say. But as far as football and not ruining his life for a true accident, I’m with you.

But buddy has a troubling pattern of behavior. Again, legal **** aside, imo he shouldn’t be kicked out of school or have his football career ended. But there have to be consequences for reckless REPEATED actions. He wouldn’t play football for me this year if it was my decision, that’s for sure. Use the time to work out, learn, show remorse, rehabilitate, etc. And if you’re a model ******* citizen and the judge doesn’t have your *** in a sling, we’ll re-evaluate in the spring.
did not realize there was a history- has this been widely reported?

I've always been of the opinion that it is the job of the legal system to deal with illegal activities. It is the job of the football program to win football games. If the legal system says he doesn't need to serve time than the football program needs to coach him up and get him ready to play. If he is the best option at any given time you get him on the field.

If the legal system is flawed and he is getting away with murder (this is probably poor use of the saying considering the tragedy) than that is a reflection on the legal system. Mario coaches ball, he doesn't litigate vehicular manslaughter cases. If the kid deserves to do time than he should, if he doesn't he should move on in life. Its kinda like the Michael Vick thing. I'm a dog person so I hated him for what he did. That said the judicial system laid out a punishment and he served his time. Once he was out he deserved a chance to earn his way back on the field. Owners deserved the right to choose not to sign him, but the NFL didn't need to be some type of moral police after the fact.

Multiple documented incidents of street racing.

3 people shouldn't have to die for someone to learn. So tired of these young guns hauling *** in their hemis and Camaros in front of my business and there is a ******* elementary school across the street. When I was 20 I was considered a man not a kid and I knocked up a girl at 22 but I still paid child support for 18yrs

So the best linebackers are the ones whose off-field “edge” ends up killing people?

I'm saying F' this kid strictly because he has priors..... dude is a habitual speedster. Idgaf how great he turn out to be for us. Will I root for him during games? Yeah .... I'll cheer on the **** devil if he's playing for my team on gameday. Will it matter to me if he gets kicked off and never touch a football field again?? Fvck no.

Watch the details within this thread get picked up by some sec news reporters. When we play Florida this is all that they'll talk about
they can just google. its all over. they dont need to get on CIS to find out about the kids reckless driving habits.

not anymore really. FHP has started running pit maneuvers statewide on street racing and going right to arrests now bc of the terror and danger those idiots bring to the road ways. ticket clinic barely works anymore outside of normal speeding (he was doubled the limit). he also side swiped a car, either hit or nearly hit a cop, and had a few other infractions in pinellas county as well including careless driving.

hes a dumb *** behind the wheel

to add, the street racing charge was only dismissed bc the cop couldn't recall the incident per Miami Dade SAO Katherine Rundle. convenient a miami dade cop couldn't recall an incident of a player who is coached by the brother of a long time cop in the area.
