now that we know he's stable and ok -

was excited to see this kid pan out. it's a shame his football career is likely over and we'll see how the legal stuff plays out now

wife just had our first 2 months ago, I can't wrap my head around stories like this. a 4 year old being ejected? man what a nightmare. if you're going to 'go' early, its going to be in a car - wish there was a better way to get that through to young people

it's important to note that even a "stable" condition doesn't necessarily mean the patient is improving; it simply means their condition hasn't worsened

Not speaking AH, hope he is just ok, but I highly doubt someone's career would be over for this, unless other factors were involved. The person making the left is the cause of the accident, FLA is comparative negligence state so if speeding was a factor the driver speeding would be at fault 10%-30% max for the accident.
Still means Morgan and Morgan will sue, but doubt any criminal charges

Vehicular manslaughter occurs when a driver operates a vehicle irresponsibly and dangerously, and it results in the death of another person. Depending on the facts of the case, it can be charged as a misdemeanor or felony. In general, if it is deemed that the driver acted with ordinary negligence, it will result in a misdemeanor. If the driver has acted in a grossly negligent manner, then it is likely that they will face felony charges.

Criminal and Civil court is totally separate things

Looks like we can no longer make those lame *** corny jokes about the UGA players.
You’re a ******* joke. Gtfoh

Two little kids died. Lives are ruined on all sides, regardless of or in spite of who is to blame and that is what you think you want to post out here. I swear to God I don’t really understand people sometimes.

I dont think "legal" repercussions will be the only thing affecting his career moving forward. Even if this turns out not to be his "fault", he was still behind the wheel and 2 kids are dead. Assuming he has a conscious, that's not something easy to deal with. At best, he will transfer to a school closer to home to have familial support. Id be surprised if his career in Miami continues after this.

Not that any of that is at the forefront of importance right now.

I think any sort of speculation in regards to who is at fault and all that is unnecessary. The authorities will determine and we'll have a full picture.

It's horrible that we have two dead and a young man hospitalized with a head injury. That's all I care about.

I don't want another Kyren Lacy situation, regardless of what happened there, this stuff breaks my heart. Forgiveness is a long road that everyone should follow.
