So let me get this straight. People are insisting that Lispy hasn’t been fired because the new AD will make the call. Then they turn around and say a guy like Jurich will have to accept the hiring of Zo to run football ops.

Some of these people legit can’t be taken seriously.

Who made Tony's name by the way? I don't see anything from reliable sources as of now.

I’m not saying it’s not Jurich or it is. I‘ve just heard a lot of Bs. Which makes me hesitant to believe anything. It’s almost like the bad info is being leaked on purpose. I’ve heard three names in the last twelve hours and thats from people who’s normally very connected. All three typically have the same info on stuff like this.

As of yesterday it was Jurich with Zo and that’s why I put “ TNM“ post. If I hadn’t did that I wouldn’t of even posted the last few posts in this thread. There’s a reason I stayed away from names.

As a Northerner it’s super frustrating. Considering Jimmy was an outsider as well. Sometimes you need someone with a new or fresh perspective to right the ship

Sure feels like that's exactly what is happening.

And if feelers have already been put out to Mario and he's said he is interested, you would think he would have been informed about the general direction the AD position was going in. I highly doubt he would want to work under a first time AD with so much on the line.
 
The only reason you give the AD job to someone like Hernandez is that he's the only one who would let Highsmith run the show with the football operations.

I always thought that someone like Jurich/Rad/Rhoades/White etc. would want to be the MAN for every sport.

Maybe I'm reaching here because I don't think we are at this stage yet, but what about Mario saying "Yeah, I'm coming but I want Zo as AD for football" and the only way to have that is to hire an underwhelming name as AD like Hernandez? If they want Mario and Mario only, you know the answer.

Just for the record: I would have hired a competent AD and let him decide the next HC, Mario or not.
