So they sacrificed on the AD to force Alonzo Highsmith into the equation….Ain’t no serious ad wanna be hamstrung with a football ops guy. too many cooks. Hence Latino Peter griffin

Well look on the bright side boys…with Hernandez as our new AD, we’ll probably need a new AD soon.
Lots of things not adding up to me for it to actually be Tony. First, why would those in charge put someone with no previous AD experience in charge of a $60M football budget? Second, if the serious football people on the BOT are now in charge, no way this is the guy they decide on as the best person for the job. Third, it feels like Alonzo could run roughshod all over this guy given his lack of experience; that sounds like a recipe for disaster. Last, I’m skeptical that Joe E would end up on Tony as the guy. Joe is a pretty thorough and organized guy who doesn’t seem to be beholden to somebody being a Miami guy, unless someone is forcing that narrative on him.Well look on the bright side boys…with Hernandez as our new AD, we’ll probably need a new AD soon.
