The importance here is hiring the new AD. All this BS talk about a HC is nonsense when you don’t have an AD in place.

For a comparative, and only a timeline comparison:
Danny White left UCF Jan. 21 and his replacement was hired Feb. 09, Mohajir. And this was a national search. Basically three weeks and done.

Oh, and Gus Malzahn was hired Feb 15…one week!

Us replacing Blake and UCF replacing White is apples to oranges. One the guy was fired with the groundwork laid for a while. The other, the guy left to a different school, likely with little (if any) advance notice to UCF.

Lol..exactly my point. And in three weeks done. HC, week after. Miami was firing James weeks ago. That’s the narrative. So with that in mind, the new AD should be in place any day now…(would be shocked)

I have my doubts that Miami has been looking, vetting, and lining up interviews for potential ADs while that ********** Blake was still employed. If we make a hire within a week it's Miami conducting a half assed search all over again.

Honest question, is that based on anything other than doubting the BOT and their previous track record?

So you're just going to discount every report out there that Blake has been on borrowed time and this has all been in motion for weeks, if not months?

Why does it matter? Manny will be let go when his buyout drops a couple million in December.

Do you really believe the BOT is gonna hire a new AD and say go find a coach? They have guys in mind and are gonna find an AD who can help get that guy, or will take the job with that guy. I don’t see this being a situation where the hiring of the AD is gonna slow the hiring of a new coach much at all. They will go hand in hand.

It's documented on here that the administration and BOT was fine with keeping Blake on board as recent as the NCST game. That was Oct 23. If you're willing to give the exceptional benefit of the doubt that Miami began the AD search the day after that still only leaves us with a search of 3 weeks.

And please, be honest with yourself. The administration and BOT after the NCST game have 99% most likely done nothing in terms of putting together a thorough and competent search for AD while Blake has been here.

Again, why are you still here? You wanted to fold the program.
