If you think betting lines are not indicative of who should win games, I hope you're posting from your yacht. You'd be a moron to really think that and not have exploited the market inefficiency.

SMU was considered tough because we play in a joke conference and have a history of choking.

But that's OK. We'll see you again here after we finish 8-4.

You mean like the great head coaches hired by the late great Sam Jankovich?

Schnellenberger, Johnson, and Erickson?

I’m not sure Miami has had a competent athletic director since Sam left Miami.

At least Paul Dee hired Butch. He did promote Larry Coker, but I’m not sure how much choice he had in the matter. The only alternative would’ve been Barry Alvarez from Shalala University. Ugh.

I’m not saying we can or should fire anyone but our inability to remotely compete for a conference title in this garbage league should put the spotlight on our AD down to our position coaches. Sadly, it won’t.

14-14 in ACC play overall, and 8th in the conference today, is an unmitigated disaster. What happens over the next four weeks means absolutely nothing. He ain’t going anywhere no matter what happens.

I know you want to see how he does over the next 4 weeks. Does it matter? We have a 4 year body of work to grade him on. That grade clearly is D at best. Many would argue F.

But Mario isn’t going anywhere so who cares.

It's a what have you done for me lately business, like most others. If they finish 10-2, that would be back to back 10 win seasons and 12-4 in the ACC. Definitely needs to improve on the ACC record, but like you said, he's not going anywhere and even if he did, who are you bringing in?
