I disagree. If he called the program a “Third rate program” or an “Insignificant program”, I would not call him a racist. “Third world” refers to poor, under developed, lacking infrastructure, and more often than not, non-white countries. Matter of fact, show me one country that is white Caucasian, that is referred to as a “Third world” country. His jab was at Miami’s significant populations from the former, populations of Hispanics, Haitians, et. al. Call a spade, a spade. He is racist. Majority of Alabamans are racist. Just like the gas in your windbag, you can only hide it for so long. Eventually, it’s gonna come out and stink up the air around you. His did. In fact, it is his apology that is insincere, something thrown around loosely, because that hits his pocketbook, his gag-worthy gig on tv. Just like I don’t buy that tv anchor in Oklahoma who compared her co-anchorman to a gorilla and then found out she was going to lose her job and the money, and did an Oscar-winning mea culpa. There is a severe need to discuss this issue in an honest way, and process it. All humans are taught different and varying prejudices, it cannot be helped. I was. What can be helped, is how you process it, and how you not allow it to be a tool for you to denigrate people not like you, that scratch your insecurities.
P.S. "Spade" in some circles is rascist. You know it. You must be rascist.
Of coursr I'm.not calling you one, only highlighting the absurdity of all this.
Everyone should watch Chappelle's latest show, "sticks and stones".
