This is true if we want to compete for NC's. For me, all I want to see is for us to consistently win the Coastal like 9 out of 10 years. The stat shown proves we have the talent to run thru the Coastal, but for whatever reason since we've joined the ACC we keep falling flat on our face. If we can win the Coastal consistently, it sets up a 1 game showdown with Clemson. While we may not win a majority of them right now...we can sneak out a win here or there, they are not unbeatable as is evident with them almost losing to UNC, having lost to Pitt and Cuse in previous years. If we can do that, then we can start to talk about bringing in those top 50 or top 100 type guys because we'll need that in order to win 3 games if we are talking NC aspirations. What Dave Clawson is doing at Wake is very underrated.
The "Top 300" is very deceptive. Clemson lands way more Top 50 guys than Miami. We need better coaching - but we gotta get more difference makers.

We should expect that, considering Miami has more talent than everybody but 1 in this conference.Miami has the second most wins in the ACC over the past 5 years? I hardly would have expected that.
That offense was pathetic. We've also been victimized by some awful decisions by some of our players. If Kaaya doesn't make the bonehead decision to go pro after '16 we are likely a playoff team in '17 and the narrative is a bit different right now.

And wake has only 3 less wins but they have to play Clemson every year. And they have 0 espn 300.We should expect that, considering Miami has more talent than everybody but 1 in this conference.
