@ErickMarreroU This is the state of Miami Baseball under JD. No bye's, about to get mercy ruled in round 1 to the LAST seed in ACC urnament and should not deserve a spot in any regional. I don't care what Cora, A-Rod, Machado, or any donor says. This program deserves better. Sad reality is, JD will be back for year 3 after getting on his knees to Cora to sign dorian to the red sox as an UDFA contract. Time to actually get serious and hire someone with ZERO internal ties and a proven ALPHA recruiter and program builder. End rant.

35-40 years old, top recruiter at a current power. That's the guy we need.

That old school rules of baseball stuff usually doesnt bother me in college. Its 10-0...one bad inning and its 10-6. You have to bury teams with aluminum bats.

You dont want them stealing, pimping homeruns, etc...dont allow it to happen.
 
The best thing to happen to us is getting mercy ruled, missing the tournament then the Admin has no place to hide, they have to fire him.
 
Promoted the pitching coach and pitching has gotten worse. There's been a lot of talented kids who are either in the majors or having success professionally who couldn't even propel Miami to success at a regional, in many cases not even making a regional. Rosario, Palmquist, Walters, Rosario, Ziehl, Van Belle, and im sure theres more.

Idk what happened to JD but he used to get much more out of pitchers (Salas & B Rad come to mind). It's not that he's lost his touch but more that its fallen off a cliff

He never adjusted to changing pitcher profiles, even when we started to bring in kids like McMahon and Cecconi. Once you could no longer get away with starting a guy like Thomas Woodrey on a Friday night he was in trouble.
