ACC tells the Chicken Littles to Fvck Off

From what I’ve been seeing is that most people support having a football season, even liberals. Of course there will be far left people trying to bully them into cancelling it. But the players know the risks and they want to play. And nobody can argue they’re probably safer playing then not playing. They’ll be in a bubble of sorts, weekly testing, team doctors checking on them every day. If there is no football who knows what the kids will end up doing.
This whole controversy isn’t political. The players forming unions, demanding Payments for likeness, etc. is the real challenge that the NCAA wants to defeat. They don’t want to share any of the revenue.

It really is a smack in the face to all of the coaches and athletic departments that have taken this seriously (Miami being one of them) to ensure player safety at all costs only to inform them that all of their hard work and planning was for nothing.

Good job ACC. Proud to be a member right now.

So how does the NFL feel safe to play their games if college presidents don't? Please.

they know the risks until someone gets really sick from covid and sues. its not a left or right issue. the universities don't want to deal with the liability.
Good grief, you are talking about the most litigious society that ever existed. With this country having more lawyers than the rest of the world that's all we do in this country. I wonder how many pending lawsuits the University is currently is dealing with, **** even our prior Coach was suing us.

Sounds like a 30+ team league could be forming here. Completely give the ncaa the boot, start equal revenue sharing with players within the "league," profit. 12 game regular season, 8 team playoffs, bring it.
