2026 ACC STANDINGS

Have you looked at the ACC standings recently? While it is true that our defense and bullpen are areas we need to improve immediately, we are still in a competitive position. Aside from the top four teams with standout records, everyone else is right in the mix.

I am asking that we please try to be more supportive. Much of the recent discussion has been negative, yet teams like LSU are 19-10 despite playing poorly, and they continue to receive positive coverage. Let's stay behind the team as we work through these challenges.

LSU won the national championship last year and have been a staple in Omaha year in and year out. Please stop bringing them up as a measuring stick.

Everyone on this board supports this team…it’s a die hard group on this board (since 2012) that deserves the right to criticize/be negative given the fact that the university/athletic department brought all of this upon themselves

Have to win this series against v tech. Probably need a sweep honestly.

Anyone still following this program loyally enough to read / post on a message board after all the bull**** we’ve had to watch since 2011 deserves to say whatever the **** they want.

If LSU went through five years that resembled our last 15 they’d be shutting down every children’s hospital in that state to solve the problem.

And they wouldn’t hire their failed pitching coach to be in charge.

We are middle of the road right now and we haven’t started the tough part of our schedule. Most of the posters in here know baseball and the criticism is usually very valid.

You’re doing less with more than anyone else on that list except for GT and FSU.

I am on your side. While this team hasn't been the greatest, there is a ton to like about them. I would not be surprised one bit if these guys put together a string of 7-10 straight ACC wins. And then all the "fans" will love them again somehow some way right.

This team can hit.
This team is poor defensively.
This team lacks quality pitching (both starters and bullpen).

Can they string together a 7 game conference winning streak? Sure.
Can they win a regional? Unlikely.
Can they win a Super Regional and make the CWS? Nope.

I hope they prove me wrong.
